I was taking ceramic plates and they didnt mention it needs to be packed in box . At security, they took out everything . And took them more than one hour to talk to supervisor. We asked them to send with cargo , but they didnt give us that option. Riyadh airport service was worse. No wheelchair we had to get off the plain and came with stairs.

The issue was resolved without any input from Saudia customer services on the ground.Customer service in flight was impeccable.

I wished to check that there would be transfer of baggage from one Saudia flight to another or whether I would need to conduct the transfer myself. There has been zero response to my questions. Not a major issue but I prefer to resolve these things before they have an opportunity to become problems.

Question about laptops

Request for transit visa

Saudi Arabian Airlines - Is my flight cancelled???
Good day. i was informed by booking.com that my flight booking nr. WQFK9G on 15th April from Manila to Vienna SV871 and SV151 was cancelled. If that's correct please send me a substitute flight. But please not after 15th of April for the reason that A. My visa is only valied to 15. April B. I have to move out of my apartment Therefore every day i have to stay longer will be costly for visa and hotel fees, which i will subsequently claim back from Saudi Arabian airways. The problem is my guess is this is routed to one guy probably working at the airport, or maybe it's a small call center, so you have to be lucky to catch them. The one day I had free and called, the line was busy, but I got lucky and was able to contact them on some other day and sort my request for my dad out.

Tickets cancelled

Saudi Arabian Airlines - Tickets cancelled
I am student in Saudi Arabia and I live there with my family. My ticket and my family tickets were canceled in November 2021. Our due date of traveling was in January 2022. When the message of cancelation came we were told that anytime we can reactivate the tickets but the links that were for reactivation didnt worked. Please we need to reactivate our tickets in order to come back and go on with our studies.

Request for Compensation for delayed Luggage by 60hrs+

Hi Team,

Greetings.

I had heard very highly of your airlines from my friends at college. In the hope of enjoying the experience I too booked a flight in your airline from Paris CDG airport on 1st Jan to Delhi International airport on 2nd Jan.

The journey had an official layover of 2 hrs at the Jeddah airport. This was my first flight of the new year in 2023. It started an hour late from Paris CDG on the 1st of Jan. We had to rush to change flights at the Jeddah airport.

But, the most shocking experience was when we arrived at Delhi airport.

I waited for 1.5 hrs at the baggage belt waiting to take my 2 bags (23 kgs each). After, all the other bags had arrived, I was asked to go to baggage reclaim counter where I got to know that my luggage was not loaded in the first place and that it will be delivered after a couple of days.

It was my first encounter at such a situation and I was really stunned. I had just came back from 3 months trip to Europe with lots of upcoming plans. I had lots of chocolates, gifts and all my clothes to wear for the next few days.

I waited patiently and was contacted only after 2 days, i.e. on the 4th of Jan.

At last, it was delivered late in the night on 4th Jan around 11:50pm.

It has been really a disturbing experience for me and none of my friends are able to accept the fact that such an event happened from your reputed airline but still no compensation has been awarded yet.

I really hope that such an incident is a very rare occurrence and I can expect to fly back again soon with your airline. Also, what is the compensation that the airline can provide for all the additional costs that I had to incur during that time with nothing to wear, change of future scheduled plans and all the mental and emotional suffering my family had to face.

I have attached all the relevant information for your records.
